~ For value received, I promise to pay, without defalcation, to the
~ order of O. D. SHRECKENGOST and ELZADA SHRECKENGOST, his wife, at
~ P. O. Box 1867 in Fort Pierce, Florida, the sum of FOURTEEN THOUSAND
~ and no/l00 DOLLARS with interest from date at the rate of 796 per ~
annum, in annual instalments,as_follows, $2,800.00 plus all accrued
interest due annually, on the 27th day of December, 1975,'and a
like sum on the corresponding day of each like succeeding period
thereafter until the whole be fully paid. .
If default is made in the payment of any instalment of principal
or interest when due, then at the.option of the holder, and without
any other notice, all the remaining instalments shall be due and
payable at once. Privilege is given to pay two or more instalments
at any instalment maturity date, but this shall not extend the time
of maturity of any subsequent instalment. Neither forbearance,
- nor acceptance by the holder hereof after any default in any payment
hereon, shall be deemed extension.
Each maker, surety and endorser hereof, jointly and severally,
waives demand, presentment, protest and notice of protest for
non-payment, and further agrees to any extension of time of payment,
either before or after maturity,•without notice to any of us;.and
~ to pay all costs of collection, including a reasonable attorney's
fee in the event of any default hereunder, and hereby severally
waives all benefit of homestead and~exemption under the constitution
and laws of each State of the United States, as against this
obligation or any extension or renewal hereof. Privilege of pre-
payment, without penalty, is hereby reserved to the makers and
granted by payees.
