That the said Luther Girtman Mims died while a
resident of St. Lucie County, Florida, in the crash of an f
airplane, which took place in Indian River County, Florida. ~
That said Luther Girtman Mims was survived by his widow,
Jeanette Mims and two (2) children, LuAnne Mims and William ~
Lawrence Mims.
This Affiant further says that he remembers when
the said R. E. Mims caused to be constructed a residence on ~

the above-captioned real property, which is situate at the
northeast corner of South Tenth Street and Georgia Avenue
in the City of Fort Pierce, Florida; that said residence
was completed at some time prior to January l, 1930, when
it was occupied by the said Robert E. Mims together with
his wife and his then unmarried children and that said
residence continued without interruption and continued to
be the residence and homestead of Robert E. Mims at the time
of his demise on June 15, 1930; that Eva W. Mims, widow of
' the said Robert E. Mims, thereafter continued to reside on ~

f said premises until her demise on January 7, 1974.

~ Based upon the foregoing facts, all of which are
~
within the personal recollection of this Affiant, this Affiant
~ says that subject real property was the homestead of Robert E.
~ Mims immediately prior to his death, and that upon his death,

the title thereto became vested in his widow, Eva W. Mims,
as to a life estate with the remainder in fee simple being
~ vested an undivided one-fifth (1/5) interest in each of his
~
five (5) children. ~
