On May 7, 2001, the City of Fort Pierce adopted Resolution No. 500 Orange Avenue, known as the "Old Post Office", as a historically sig 2. Since 1935, the Orange Avenue at 5th Street United States Pc public; and, for the past decade, the City of Fort Pierce has engaged in a su its rich heritage of historic architecture. 3. This Board believes it is in the best interest of the citizens to reopen the United States Post Office located at 500 Orange Avenue, Fc NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Cour Lucie County, Florida: 1. This Board does hereby support the reopening and use by the Uni of the United States Post Office located at 500 Orange Avenue at 5th Stree 2. The County Administrator is hereby directed to forward a copy Honorable Edward Enns, Mayor of the City of Fort Pierce, City Hall, O. Box 1480, Fort Pierce, Florida 34954.
