HomeMy WebLinkAbout0039 ~ 3wp~r3a. ~ v ~ CERTIFICATE OF APPROVAL FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF BULKHEAD LINE NO. 56(4-4-72) WHEREAS, Section 253.122, Florida Statutes, authorizes local f authozities to locate and fix bulkhead lines in the tidal waters ' within their jurisdictional limits for the purpose of controlling ~ dredging and filling of submerged sovereignty lands in the interest ~ of the public; and ~ _ WHEREAS, the State of Florida Board of Trustees of the ~ Internal Improvement Trust Fund, in which title to sovereign lands _ and waters is vested for the protection~of the pttblic interest, is charged with approving or rej~~ting bulkhead lines established locally; and WHEREAS, the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners, by Resolution No. 70-85, adopted November 10, 1970, amended by Resolution No. 72-67, adopted June 6, 1972, did adopt and submit to the State of Florida Board of Trustees of the Internal Improve- ment Trust Fund for approval a bulkhead line 1,208.52 feet long, more or less,.in Section 26, Township 34 South, Range 40 East, Indian River, St. Lucie County, said bulkhead line being more ~ partidularly described as follows: - From the Southeast corner of Section 26, Township 34 South, Range 40 East, St. Lucie County, Florida, run North 0°22'O1" East a distance of 671.74 feet to a point lying on the North right of way of State Road AIA; thence run North 87°08'47" West along the North right of way of State Road AIA, a distance of 1,693.74 feet to a point, said point lying on the North right of way of State Road AIA and being the P.C. of a curve having a radius of 279.19 feet and a central angle of 60°19'33"; thence run along said ~ curve a distance of 293.94 feet to a point on AIA ~ right of way, being the P.T. of said curve; thence ~ run North 29°09'35" East a distance of 275.67 feet ~ to the South line of King Fis,her Waterway (Coral ~ Cove Beach Subdivision, Plat Book 11, page 30) said ~ line being a curve concave to the Southeast having ; ( a radius of 2,100 feet; thence run in a Northeasterly t ~ direction along the arc of said curve 180.52 feet , i ~ (chord 180.47 feet) to a point, said point being the Point of Beginning of the herein described bulkhead line; thence run North 17°12'S8" East a distance of ~ 568.22 feet to a point; thence run North 35°54'10" ~ East a distance of 640.30 feet to a point, said # point being the termination of said bulkhead line, ~ less that portion across manmade waterways as shown ~ ~ on plat of Coral Cove Beach Subdivision as recorded ~ ~ in Plat Book 11, page 30, St. Lucie County, Florida. _ ~ AND, WHEREAS, the State of Florida Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund has examined the bulkhead line as ~ submitted and finds it to be located and properly established according to the provisions of Section 253.122, Florida Statutes; ti NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED-BY THE STATE OF FLORIDA BOARD ~ OF TRUSTEES OF THE YNTERNAL IMPROVEMENT TRUST FUND that the bul~C- ~ head line as approved by the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners by Resolution No. 70-85, adopted November 10, 1970, ~ ~r f ~ This Instrument was Prepared by ~ Paul Baldwin Elliot Building rm= Tallahassee, Flotida 32304 ~I~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ F ~ ^ ' _ '
