ORDINANCE N0. G-105 ~
• AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION CONTAINED ~
IN ORDINANCE N0. G-60 WHICH WAS PASSED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA, ON
DECEMBER 26, 1972, AND AGAIN PASSED ON JANUARY 2, "
1973, VACATING ANII CLOSING A PORTION OF SURFSIDE DRIVE
AS DELINEATED ON THE PLAT OF SURFSIDE, UNIT 2, AS
RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 11, PAGE 8, ST. LUCIE COUNTY•
FLORIDA, PUBLIC RECORDS, AND VACATING AND CLOSING A ~
40-FOOT DIRT ROAD RUNNING WEST FROM F,XISTING 60-FUU'1' ~
COUNTY BEACH ACCESS TO STATE ROAD A-1-A; PROVIDING
FOR CERTAIN CONTINGENCIES IN CONNECTION THEREWITH;
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. SAID
AMENDED LEGAL DESCRIPTION PERTAINS TO A DESCRIPTION
IN PARCEL II, SECTION 1, AND ALSO PERTAINS TO A COR-
RECTION OF AN ERRONEOUS DESCRIPTION IN SECTION 2(a)
WHEREIN PROPERTY OWNED BY HUTCHINSON ISLAND LIMITED
PARTNERSHIP WAS IMPROPERLY DESCRIBED, AND REPEALING
~ ALL PARTS OF SAID ORDINANCE N0. G-60 IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA:
SECTION l. That from or after the effective date of this Ordinance
as hereinafter set forth, the legal description contained in Ordinance

No. G-60 in that certain paragraph designated as Parcel II under Section i
l, which formerly read:

~ A tract of land 40 feet in width the centerline of which ~
' is described as follows: Commencing at the intersection
~ of the easterly right of way of Surfside Drive and the
` South line of Surfside, Unit l, a subdivision recorded-
~ in Plat Book 10, Page 11, St. Lucie County records.....;

~ said legal description is hereby amended and from and after the effec-
~ tive date of this Ordinance, the legal description contained in the
~
~ paragraph designated as Parcel II under Section 1 of Ordinance No. G-60

~ shall read:

~ A tract of land 40 feet in width the centerline of which
~ is described as follaws: Commencing at the intersection
~ of the easterly right of way of Surfside Drive and the

in Plat Book 11, Page 8, St. Lucie County records......;

SECTION 2. Subparagraph (a) under Section 2 of Ordinance No. G-60
is hereby amended so that after the effective date of this amendment,
the correct legal description of the property to be conveyed by
Hutchinson.Island Limited Partnership to the City of fort Pierce,

- Florida, is as follows:

Commencing at the intersection point of centerlines of
Surfside Drive and Coconut Drive in Section 7, Township
35 South, Range 41 East, St. Lucie County, Florida, run -
southeasterly aiong the centerline of Surfside Drive on ;
a bearing of South 20°11'10" East a distance of 197.43 3
~E feet to a point on the north boundary of the property,
~ said point being the Point of Beginning.
