REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINA2JC~S `

EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. '
WIiEREAS, that portion of South 16th Street north of and
adjacent to Yosemite Court being a parcel of land 50 feet wide and 125
feet long lying between and adjacent to Lot 6, Block 12, and Lot 1, Bloek
9, Niaravilla Terrace Subdiv.ision is a dead-end road not actually in use
and
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Pierce has expended no funds on the
improvement of said platted street, and
WHEREAS, a request has been received from the abutting owners
f to vacate said portion of South 16th Street, and ~

WHEREAS, investigations by the Director of Public Works, the €

~ Director of BuiZding and Zoning, the Director of Finance and the Director~
~
~ of Er~gineering have concluded that the subject vacation would in no way ~

be adverse to City interests, and i

~ 47HEREAS, in consider~tion of the above, it is in the best

~ interest of the general welfare of the City of Fort Pierce to vacate the
~
~ aforementioned portion of Sou*h 16th Street.
