PIERCE, according to plat thereof on file in
Plat Book 1, page 1, public records of St.
Lucie County, Florida.

COUNTY OF ST. LUCIE
Before the undersigned authority, duly authorized to ad- •
minister oaths and take acknowledgments, personally appeared
HAROLD SYDNEY WILLIAMS, who, being by me first duly sworn, upon

is the son of E. S. WILLIAMS, sometimes known as EDMUND SYDNEY
WILLIAMS, who died on August 4, 1930; affiant further states that
he, his mother, ELLA GORDY WILLIAMS, and his sister, MARGARET
GORDY WII.LIAMS, now MARGARET W. RAINWATER, were the sole heirs
of EDMUND SYDNEY WILLIAMS; affiant further states that his mother,
ELIA GORDY WILLIAMS, is now deceased and that he and his sister,
MARGARET GORDY WILLIAMS, now MARGARET W. RAINWATER, were the sole
heirs of ELLA GORDY WILLIAMS. Affiant further states that his
' father acquired title to the above described property by deed

dated September 30, 1914, and evidently conveyed the same to

( LIZZIE B. McCARTY in the mid-1920's, with Mrs. McCarty failing to

s record the deed, although the tax assessor, beginning with the

~ ~ year 1926, assessed the above described property to I,IZZIE B.

~ McCARTY, and in 1927 the City of Fort Pierce assessed LIZZIE B.

~ ~ McCAR~'Y for certain improvemerits made to said property and she exer-

cised ownership of the property from the mid-1920's until the time

- ~ of her death by paying taxes on same, mortgaging the same, and

° ~ constructing rental units thereon. Affiant further states that,

~ ~ to the best of his knowledge, his father never made any claim to ~

4 the property in question after LIZZIE~B. McCARTY began exercising
