Maturity 'PickingJHauling charges to be deduded from fruit purchased on Lbs. Solids basis. Fruit to be paid for as soon as picking is completed. ( ) Do ( ) Do not deduct extra picking. If any of the citrus fruit covered by this contract faiis to meet the State of Florida maturity standards or tests, so that it may not be picked on or before the above moving date, the time for piicking shall be extended for such additional time as may be required to harvest the same after such crop passes said m~turiry tesi. Said GROWE2 or DEALER does hereby acknowledge receipt of draft No. - _ for _ d~llars to apply on the purchase price of said fruit and to be deduct~d as fruit is picked under this contract. Should the fruit not be~taken by the BUYER, the amount re- ceipted for hereby sholl be forfeited to the GROWER or DEALER as ~ sofe liquidated damage hereunder. If the GROWER or DEALER fails to deliver citrus fruit in sufficient quantity at the prices aforesaid to liquidate said deposit, any remaining ba{ance thereof shall on demand be refunded to BUYER, and BUYER shall have a lien on fu- ~ ture citrus crops an said grove or groves for said amount until peid. ~ ~ This contrad is made subjed to strikes, lockouts, embargoes or other conditions beyond control of the BUYER, as well as all ~ State and Federal laws and ~egulations. GROWER or DEALER covenants and agrees to properly maintain and care for said grove(s) and to exercise every normal precaution to maintain fruit quality during the life of this contract.
