THIS CAUSE, coming on this day to be heard on the Application
of the Department of Insurance of the State of Florida for the entry of ~

. an Order appointing the Department of Insurance as Ancillary Receiver ~
of Signal Insurance Company of Los Angeles, California and the Order to i
Show Cause, and the Court being fully advised in the premises, finds: ~
1. Section 63I.071, Florida Statutes, authorized the Depart-
~ ment of Insurance of the State of Florida to apply to the Court for

~ appointment as Ancillary Receiver of a foreign insurer for purposes of
l
€ ~onservati.en if any of the grounds for conservatio;~ set forth in Section
~ 631.071, FZorida Statutes, exist. ~
~ 2. On September 23, 1975, the Honorable Harry L. Huff, one ~
~ of the Judges of the Superior Court of Los Angeles, California, entered .
~ an Order Appointing Conservator and Restraining Order in the case of f
~
~ the Insurance Commissioner of the State of California v Signal Insurance

~ Com an (No. C 135919~•~That Order directs the Insurance Commissioner
~
~ of ~he State of Califcrnia, ~o take possession of all of the property .

and affairs of Signal Insurance Co~r,gany and to conduct the business of `

$ the company. By the appoin~ment of a Conservator in its state of

~ domicile, the property of Signal Insurance Company has been sequestered
