RELEASE OF RESERVATIONS NO. 9978 ;3~~~;~,~
BY CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN FLORIDA FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT
ON LANDS DEEDED BY

i EES OF THE INTERNAL IMPROVEMENT FUND
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions uf Chapter 14717, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1931, and Chspter
20658, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1941, the Trustees of the Internal Improvement Fund of the State of Florida were
relieved of all official duties in connection with lands within the Everglades Drainaqe District~ and a new Board of
Commissioners of said District was provided to administer the affairs of said District, and to assume all the powers
heretofore exercised by the said 'Ilrustees in the conduct of the affairs of said District, and
WHEREAS, Central and Southern Florida Flood Control District was created under and by virtue of
Chapter 252?0, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1949, and operates and is governed according to the provisions of Chapter
373, Florida Statutes, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to and in compliance with Chapter 25420, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1949, the
Board of Commissioners of Everglades Drainage District has effected the transfer of all reservations held by said
Board and District to the Central and Southern Florida Flood Control District.
NOW, THEREFORE, KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that the CENTRAL AND SOUTH-
ERN FLORIDA FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT, a public corporation, in compliance with and by victue of the
authority in it vested under the Laws of the State of Ftorida, and for and in consideration of the sum of
TEN DOLLARS 10 .00), and other valuable considerations paid by
RAINBO~W GROVES, INC., c/o Michael S. McCarty, Attorney at Law, 302 South
2nd Street, P. 0. Box 44~2, Fort Pierce, Florida.

Fiorida, and beiu : From the Northeast corner of Section 21, Township 37 South, Range

said Section 21, 790.37 feet to the Northwesterly right of way line for Glades Cut=
Cff Road; thence run South'44°43'30" West along said right of wa~ line 2664.54 feet;
thence run Narth 45°16'30" West 1650.0 feet; thence run North 44 43'30" East 10.06

5 Deed Book 66 , page 249 , St . Lucie County, Florida, public records by the said
~ Trustees of the Internal Improvement Fund of the State of Florida, to wit:
? Saving and reservinq unto the said, the Trustees of the Internal Improvement Fund of the State of
~ Florida, and their successors, the right at any time to enter upon the said lands and make or cause to
~ be made and constructed thereon such canals, sluice-ways, dikes and other works as may in the judg-
~ ment of the said Trustees, or their successon, be necessary and needful for the drainage or reclamation .
' of any of the lands qranted to the State of Florida, by an Act of Congress, approved September 28,
~ 1850, and to take from the said lands hereby conveyed and to use such gravel, stone or earth as may,

~ the Staie of Florida, the right to the exclusive possession, occupation, use and enjoyment of a strip
' of land runninq across the above described premises, one hundred and thirty feet on each side of
' . the center line of any canal, cut, sluice-way or dike that may be made and constructed on said land

~ by the said Trustees of the said Internal Improvement fiund of the State of Florida, or their succes-
sots ;for the purpose aforesaid, and the exclusive riqht to take, use, sell, dispose of and enjoy any
