Lu~ie County Planning and Zoning Commission ; ~ after holding a public hearing at which due notice was published i ~ at least fifteen (15) days prior to said hearing has recommended ~ to the eoard of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County that ~ t the following amendments to the Comprehensive Zoning Resolution for St. Lucie County be adopted, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public ` hearing on said amendment on May 4, 1976 after first publishing a notice of said hearing in the News Tribune published in Fort Pierce, Florida on the 9th day of April, 1976, said dat~ being at least fifteen days prior to the date of said hearing. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County in meeting assembled this 4th day of May, 1976 that the Comprehensive Zoning Resolution for St. Lucie County be and the same is hereby amended as follows: 1. Amend~the 26th line of PERMITTED PRINCIPAL USES AND STRUCTURES in A-1 District to read: "Publicly owned or operated buildings and uses, including but not limited to, sanitary landfills, incinerators and solid waste resource recovery and management facilities approved by the Department of Environmental Regulation of the State" ~ 2. Amend SPECIAL EXCEPTIONS in A-1 District by deleting: f i f f "Dump, sanitary fill, incinerator." ; ; ~ 3. Amend Paragraph 9, Section 7, entitled "Sewage Disposal" to read as follows: ~ ~ ~ "9. Sewage Disposal. Under all zoning classifications in all ~ districts for all structures where a sanitary sewer exists or ~ is later installed within a reasonable distance, a connection ~ ~ thereto shall be required. Where no sanitary sewer exists and an individual sewage disposal system is required, it ~ shall conf.orm with the standards and requirements of the St. ~ Lucie County Health Department and building permits shallnot be ~ issued for those sites upon which the proposed method of ~ sani~ary sewage is not approved by said County Health Depart- ~ ~ ment. Accompanying the building permit application, there ~ ~ shall be a scale drawing of the building and plot plan showing I ~ clearly the proposed sewage disposal system. Copies of these ~ plans shall be submitted.to the St. Lucie County Health ~ Department for the issuance of a septic tank:permit when the K criteria established by the Board of County Commissioners are met. When application for permit to erect or enlarge a bt~ilding ~ has been filed and pending issuance of such permit, the f Building Official may, at his discretion, issue a special i ~ permit for the foundations of such building.
