Wx~?s, the Company deems it necessary and advisable for its
proper corporate purposes to create a new series of bonds to be Irnovm
as its First riortgage Bonds, Series R, and to issue presendy, under
the provisions of - Article IV of the Original Indenture, 'Fwenhy Million
Dollars (~20,000,000 ) in aggregate principal amount of said First Mort
gage Bonds, Series R, to be securecl bv the Original Indenture as hereto-
fore supplemented and as further supplemented~ and modifjed by this
Twenty-Second Supplemental Indenhire( the Original Indenture as so
supplemented and modified being hereinafter commonly referred to as
the "Indenture"); and
WH~as, the Company has requested the Trustees to join with it .
in the eaecution and delivery~ of this Twenty-Second Supplemental Inden-
' ture; and
