modifications of tlie Indenhire may he entered into by the Company
and the Trustces as follo~vs: any amendment or change affecNng the
bonds of Series R differentlv from the bonds of any other series may
~ be effected ~vith the consent (in ~vriting or at a meeting called for the
purpose) of holders of sith•-six and h~~o-thirds per cent {66'~~) in prin-
cipal amount of the bonds of Series R then outstanding and any other
amendment or change ma}' be effected ~vith the consent of the holders
of sixty-six and t~vo-thirds per cent (66~%) in principal amount of the
bonds of all series then outstanding (subject to the requirements of
any other supplemental indenhires as to the rights of any particular
series); provided, ho~~~e~•er, that no such amendment or modificaNon
' shall extend the fised maturity of the bonds of Series R, or reduce the
rate, or extend the date of payment of interest thereon, or reduce the
principal amount or redemption prices thereof, or permit the creation
of any lien on the ~ssets or properh~ of the Company prior to the lien
of the I~ndenture, ~vithoi~t the written consent of the holder of each
; }wnd of Series R affected by such action.
