AN ORDINANCE EXTENOING THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS
.OF THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA, TO INCLUDE ~
THE EAST 150' OF LOT 86, MARAVILLA SUBDIYISION;
OIRECTING THE ST. LUCIE COUNTY TAX ASSESSOR TO
• ASSESS SAID PROPERTY AND PLACE IT ON THE ~ITY
TAX ROLLS FOR THE YEAR 1977 AND SU6SEQUENT YEARS;
DIRECTING THE ST. LUCIE COUNTY TAX COLLECTOR TO
COLLECT TAXES ON THE ABOVE DESCRIBED PROPERTY
FOR THE YEAR 1977 AND SUBSEQUENT YEARS; DIRECTIN6
PUBLICATION AND POSTING OF THIS ORDINANCE; ZONING
SAID LANDS; REPEAIING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREMITH; AND PROVIDING ~

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE,
: FLORIOA:
SECTION 1. The Territorial Limits of the City of Fort Pierce,
Florida,_ be and they are hereby extended to annex to the said City
the following described lands, to-wit:

The East 150 feet of Lot 86, MARAVILLA SUBDIVISION.
: SECTION 2. That the Tax Assessor of St. Lucie County and the
. Tax Collector of St. Lucie County are directed to place upon and
add to the assessment roll and to collect the taxes on the lands
described in Section 1 hereof for the year 1977 and subsequent years,
and to enter the same at such valuation that it will bear an equal
r- and just ro ortion of taxes for the
; p p year 1977 and subsequent years

~ SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall cause this Ordinance to
be published once a week for four consecutive weeks in The News
Tribune in Fort Pierce, Florida, and to post three copies of this
Ordinance in a conspicuous place in the City Hall in the City of
Fort Pierce and three copies in a conspicuous place on the tract -
hereinbefore described, said posting to be for four consecutive weeks.
SECTION 4. That upon this Ordinance becoming effective the
~ lands hereinabove described and annexEd to the territorial limits
~ of the City of Fort Pierce shall be and the same are hereby zoned
~ for R-2 land uses, in accordance with the zoning ordinances of the
City of Fort Pierce, Florida.
