Before the undersigned authority, an officer duly author-
ized to take acknowledgments and aclminister oaths, personally
appeared WILLIE JEAN MADDOX, who, after being by me first duly
sworn, upon oath says: That my name is~WILI~IE JEAN~MADDOX, that
affiant executed a mortgage in behalf of IVEN J. MADDOX, her hus-
band, as his attorney-in-fact, in favor of Citi2ens Federal Savings
and Loan Association of St. Lucie County, dated March 4, 1977 and
recorded in O.R. Book 264 at page 2283 of the public records of St. ~
Lucie County, Florida. Affiant further states that the property
encnmbered by said mortgage is not and has never been the homestead
of IVEN J. MADDOX, and that, at the time she executed the mortgage
in question as attorney-in-fact for IVEN J. MADDOX, the power of
attorney which IVEN J. MADDOX gave her; dated _ebruary 10, 1977, was
in fu11 force and effect and had never been revoked and is, in fact,
still in full force and effect as of the date of this affidavit.
AFFIANT SAYS NOTHING FURTHER. ~
