AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF ~ ~
THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA, TO INCLUDE
MARAVILLA S/D, THAT PART OF E. 1S0' OF LOT 84, LYING
IN W~ OF SEC. 2Z-35-40; DIRECTING THE ST. LUCIE COUNTY
TAX APPRAISER TO ASSESS SAID PROPERTY AND PLACE IT ON
THE CITY TAX ROLLS FOR THE YEA.R 1978 & SUBSEQUENT YFARS;
DIRECTING THE ST. LUCIE COUNTY+TAX COLLECTOR TO COLLECT
TAXES ON THE ABOVE DESCRIBED PROPERTY FOR THE YEAR 1978
AND SUBSEQUENT YEARS; DIRECTING PUBLICATION AND POSTING
OF THIS ORDINANCE; ZONING SAIp LANDS; REPEALING ALL - k
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; '
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CO1rIlrIISSION OF THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA:
SECTION I. The Territorial Limits of the City of Fort Pierce,
Florida, be and they are herebq extended to annex to the said City the
following described land, to-wit:
Maravilla Subdivision, That part of East 150 ,
Feet of Lot 84 lying in W~ of,Section 21-35-40,
(O:R. 210-1687). ,
SECTION II. That the Tax Appraiser of St. Lucie County and
the Tax Collector of St. Lucie County are directed to place upon and
add to the assessment roll and to collect the t~es.on the lands ~
described in Section I hereof for the year 1978 and subsequent years,
and to enter the same at such valuation that it will bear an equal and
just proportion of taxes for the year 1978 and subsequent years thereto.
~SECTION III. That the City Clerk shall cause this Ordinance
to be published once a week for four consecutive weeks in The News !
Tribune in Fort Pierce, Florida, and to post three copies of this
Ordinance in a conspicuous place in the City.Hall in the City of Fort
Pierce and three copies in a conspicuous place on the tract hereinbefore
described, said posting to be for four consecutive weeks.

SECTION IV. That upon this Ordinance becoming effe~tive the
lands hereinabove described and annexed to the territorial limits of
the City of Fort Pierce shall be and the same are hereby zoned for R-2
land uses in accordance with the zoning ordinances of the City of Fort
Pierce, Florida. °
SECTION V. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed. ~

SECTION VI. This Ordinance shall be and become effective at
the expiration of thirty days after final passage.
