ornaments, books, furnishing and personal effects of every kind and
nature used by me about my ~erson, of the address, at the tim~ of my
de~th to my moth~r, Mary F. Oavis, to dispose and distribute as she
~ so wish~s. In the event my mother predeceased rt~, I devise such
property to said ~laine 0. 4•Iard. It is my di~ection th~t no public
auction be held for the purpose of disposing of the property herein
bequeathed. ~
