On behalf of ROBERT McQUADE d/b/a DIPPER DAN ICE CREAM SHOPPE,
personally appeared before me this day REUBEN !KEADOW and MARGARET
MEADOW, who after first being.duly sworn depose and say: - +
1. That they are the duly authorized attorneys-in-fact for ;
Roberta McQuade d/b/a Dipper Dan Ice Cream Shoppe, and that as such
they are ~authorized to make this sworn affidavit.
2. That the power of attorney appended hereto and simultaneously
recorded herewith remains in full force and effect as of this date;
that they know Roberta McQuade to be living and competent, or alterna- .
tively, they have not received notice of the death or incompetency of
the said Roberta McQuade.
3. That they know of their own personal knowledge of the promissory

note made, or to have been made, by Dinorah Sed and Dinorah A. Sed on
or about April 13, 1976, said note to be secured by recorded lien upon
the goods and equipment of the business known as Dipper Dan Ice Cream
Shoppe; that said promissory note was never received by them or,
alternatively, was lost shortly after its receipt.
4. That said promissory note, if received, has never been
I~ assigned or endorsed to third parties for value, and Roberta McQuade,

by and through these affiants, is certified hereby to be the owner and
~ holder thereof if the same is in existence.
