MORTGAGE MODI~'ICATTON A~REEMENT ,
This agreement, made j/ ~day of Max, 1977, by
and between HENRY R. NELSON and AMEL~A A. NELSON, his wife,
hereinafter referred to as Mortgagors, and ORVILLE W. BIGHAM
and HAZEL M. BTGHAM, his wife, hereinafter referred to as
Mortgagees.
W I T N E S S E T H:
WHEREAS, Mortgaqees are the holders of a certain promis--
sory note for si.xty thousand dollars ~$60,000.00), dated
May 4~ 1976, in which Mortgagors are the makers and Mortgagees
are the payees, and
WHEREAS, said promissory note is secured by a mortgage
qiven by the said Mortgagors to the said Mortgage~s on certain
real property in St. Lucie County, Florida, more particularly
described as follows:
Lot 11, Block 11, Surfside Subdivision Unit #1,
according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat
! Book 10 at page 17 of the public records of St.
~ Lucie County, Florida; and
~
~ WHEREAS, the aforementioned mortgage, dated May 4, 1976,
~ has been recorded in Official Records Book 252 at page 557
of the public records of St. Lucie County, Florida; and
~ WHEREAS, l~rtgagors are the present owners of the above
described real property; and
WI~REAS, Mortqagors and Mortgagees have agreed to modify
the terms of the aforementioned promissory note;
NOW,THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and the
- mntual covenants hereinafter set forth the parties hereto

~ agree as follows:
~ 11 Accrued interest and $25,000.00 in principal on ~
~ the above described promissory note has been paid to May 10,
1977 and the outstanding principal balance.as of said date ~

is in the amount of thirty~five thousand dollars $35,000.00).
