You should keep a copy of this letter as a permanent record because your :
attorney may need it to close_the probate praceedings for the estate. It is
evidence that the Federal tax return for the estate has~either been accepted as {
filed. or has been accepted after an ad3ustment that you agreed to. °

This is not a formal cloeing agreement under section 7121 of the Internal ~
Revenue Code, but we •ill not reopen this case unless the provisions of Revenue !
