. FOR VALUE RECEIVED the undersigned promises to pay to the order
of William C. Ellis and-or Katherine P. Ellis the principal sum of ~
FIVE THOUSAND ($5.OQ0.00) Dollars together with interest thereon
at the rate of eight per cent per annum from Julv 15, 19?7 _
until maturity, both principal and interest being payable in ].A~wful

in installments as folloWS:
