HomeMy WebLinkAbout0538 ~ 6• ~~e ~ t RfiSOLUTION NO. 77-102 WHSR$AS, the St. Lucie County Plarining and Zoning Commission. after holding a public hearinq at which due notice was published at least fifteen (15) days prior to said hearing has recom~nended to~the Board of County Connnissioners of St. Lucie County that the following amendme»tst~ the Comprehensive Zoning Resolution for St. Lucie County be adopted, and - WH$REAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearinq on said amendments on September 6, 1977 after first publishing a ~ notice of said hearinq in the News Tribune published in Fort Pierce, - Florida on the 19th day of Auqust, 1977, said date being at least ' ~ fifteen (15) days prior to the date of said hearing. _ NOW, THEREFORS, B$ 2T RESOLVED by the Board of County Com~ais- . sioners of 5t. Lucie County in meetinq assembled this 6th day of September, 19?7 that the Comprehensive Zoning Resolution for St. Lucie County be and the same is amended_as follows: 1. Amend~Section 2 DEFINITIONS by-a8ding: ~ "SHOPPING CBNTER: A commercial development consisting . of two~(2) or more commercial, office, or service establishments in one (1) or more buildinqs built on a site that is desiqned, developed, cont;ol~ed, or - operated by a sinqle ownership or management with off- _ street parkinq placed on the site to serve all establishments in the center. Any one (1) commercial, ~ office, or service establishment with 50,000 square feet. ~ - or more of qross floor area with off-street pa~kinq ~ placed on the site shall also constitute a.shopping center." _ 2. Amend Special Exceptions in One Family Dwelling Districts by adding: ~ "In the R-lA, R-1B. and R-1C Districts,•an owner of a parcel of land containing not less than two acres, and who resides ~ thereon, may keep not tnore than two horses or two ponies or one horse and one~pony,for his personal or family use; grovided they are not stabled or stalled within one hundred fifty (150) feet of any dwellinq under separate ownership.- The horses or ponies shall not-be kept for sale or resale nor for commercial purposes, including bre~ed' , boarding, or veterinary care. The entire area ~ shall b~ kept in a clean and sanitary condition meeting all requirements of the St. Lucie County Health Department." ~zT4 ~ 5~~1 . ~
