A RESOLUTION BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY CONE
OF SAINT LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA CERTIFYING
LUCIE HABITAT FOR HUMANITY, INC.'s, PROGRA]
CONSTRUCTION OF HOUSING FOR VERY-LOW IN(
IS CONSISTENT WITH LOCAL PLANS AND REGUL~
WHEREAS, St Lucie Habitat for Humanity, Inc.'s ("Habitat") pr(
housing for very-low income persons is designed to offer home ownership to
Saint Lucie County in an effort to eliminate substandard housing and
economically viable community; and,
WHEREAS, the Habitat building program makes owner-occupied h~
persons through private-public partnerships and "sweat equity" on the party e
WHEREAS, the Habitat building program is consistent with the pro
Plan of Saint Lucie County and all local plans and regulations; and,
WltEREAS, Saint Lucie County supports both the Habitat building p~
that facilitate the provision of affordable, owner-occupied housing; and,
WHEREAS, Chapter 220, Florida Statutes, provides corporate in
Community Contribution Tax Credit, as set out in Section 220.183, Florida St~

The County Administrator is hereby authorized and directed
