WHEREAS, it has been officiall~y made known to u~e that the Honorable
E. P. DeFriest , a Judge of the Countv of.
St. Lucie County , Florida, is unable to perform the duties of his office
because of disqualification in the case of: Millie Reynolds vs. Aaron Young
Case No. 77-1269-SP
NOW, THEREFORE, I. C. PFEIFFER TROWBRIDGE, oursuant to authority
vested in me as Chief Judge of the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida,
under Section 2(b) and (d), Article V of the Constitution of Florida and Rule
1.020 (b) (3) (ii) Rules of Civil Procedure, do hereby assign and designate the
Honorable G. E. Bryant, Jr. , a Judge of the County Court,
of Okeechobee County - , and thereupon-to hear, conduct, try and
determine the above cause(s) which shall be presented to him as a temporary
judge of said court, and thereafter to dispose of all r~atters considered by him
in said case.
The said G. E. Bryant, Jr. under and by virtue of the
~ authority hereof, is hereby vested with all and singular the powers and prerogatives
~

' conferred by the ~onstitution and laws of the State of Florida upon a judge of the
~
court to which he is hereby assigned.
