For value received, PETER M. LEAMING, INC., a Florida corporation, hereby
promises to pay, without defalcation, to the order of CLAUDE H. COMBS and
LOUISE COMBS, his wife, 1902 South 8th Street, Fort Pierce, Florida, the
sum of SIX THOUSAND NINE HUI3DRED FIFTY DvLLARS,~with interest from January
l, 1978, at the rate of 7% per annum, in three, equal, principal installments,
' plus interest, payable coincident with the first, second and third draws
whi~h Maker of~this note is to receive on the mortgage from First Federal
~ Savings and Loan Association of Fort Pierce, which Maker is presently nego-
tiating, and which mortgage will encumber the same property as is encumbered
by the mortgage which secures this note. Nevertheless, this note shall be
payable in full six months from the date of this note.
! Privilege shall be given to prepay this note at any time without penalty. If
default is made in the payment of any installment when due, then at the option
of the holder, and without any other notice, all the remaining installments
shall be due and payable at once. Neither forbearance, nor acceptance by the
holder hereof after any default in any payment~hereon, shall be deemed ex-
tension.
Each :naker, surety and endorser hereof, jointly and severally waives demand,
presentment, protest and notice of protest for non-payment, and further agrees
to any extension of time -of payment, either before or after maturity, without
notice to any of us; and to pay all costs of collection, including a reason-
~ able attorney's fee in the event of any default hereunder, and hereby severally
waives all benefit of homestead and exemption under the constitution and laws
of each State of the United States, as againstt~is obligation or any extension
or renewal hereof.
