l pay the debts and costs of administration of my said estate,

~ devise and bequeath to my husband, WILLIAM J. GRANFIELD, to
~ be his absolutely and forever.

{ In the event that my said husband and I should perish ~
; in a common casualty or catastrophe, or under such circumstanc

; that it cannot be readily determined which of us died first,

' or in the event that my said husband should predecease me,

; ~ not succeed to him, but I give, devise and bequeath all of my

~ property as follows:
~ (a) All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate,

' situate, which I may own or have the right to dispose of at

~ the time of my decease, I give, devise and bequeath to my son,
