WHEREAS, the St. Lucie County Plannin~ and 2oning Commissior} ~
after holdin a ublic hearin at which due notice was published ~

at least fifteen (15) days prior to said hearing has recommended
to the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County that the
following amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Resolution for St. ~

Lucie County be adopted, and ~

WHEREAS, the eoard of County Commissioners held a public t
hearing on said amendment on February 28, 1978~ after first publishing
a notice of said hearing in the News Tribune published in Fort Pierce,
Florida on the 13th day of February, 1978, said date being at least
fifteen (15) days prior to'the date of said hearing.

~ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners of St. Lucie County in meeting assembled ttiis 28th day of ;

February, 1978,that the Comprehensive Zoning Resolution for St. Lucie
County be and the same is amended as follows:
1. Amend SPECIAL EXCEPTION in District B-3 - ARTERIAL BUSINESS
by adding:
"Sale of used or second-hand merchandise as an
_ accessory use in drive-in theaters provided the
Board of Adjustment determines the existing
screening is sufficient. Otherwise, said
; Board shall specify what additional screening {
~ will be required. ~
f "Sale of used or second-hand merchandise as an ~
~ accessory use to a permitted use provided the '
~ requirements of Subsection 16 of Section 7 are -
complied with."
