A G R E E M E N T
THIS AGREEMENT made between THE TRUST FOR PUBLIC LAND,
82 Second Street, San Francisco, California 94105, hereinafter
called "Trust", and.the STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL
RESOURCES, 202 Blount Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32304, herein-
after called the "Department".
• WHEREAS, the State of Florida has purchased from the Trust
671.98 acres of "Savannas" lands situated in St. Lucie County,
which lands were purchased by the Trust from the General Development
Gorporation, and
WHEREAS, the Trust is retaining ownership of an additional
16$.91 acres of the."Savannas" lands situated in St. Lucie County,
which were purchased by the Trust from the General Development
Corporation. -
NOW, THEREFORE, the Trust and the Department agree as
follows:
W I T N E S S E T H:
For and in consideration of the purchase by the State of
Florida of the 671.98 acres of "Savannas" lands for the sum of
$88,637.60, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged by the
Trust, the Trust agrees that it, its successors and assigns, shall
in no way amend, change or alter the restrictions in the deed to
the above-referenced 168.91 acres, or any of the conditions contained
therein, which deed is attached hereto and made a part hereof as
Exhibit "A", without the express written consent of the Department,
it successors and assigns.
