terms contained in the above described Note by extending the
date of final payment of principal and interest as set forth
in Paragraph (b)of said Note from May 4, 1978 to September 4,
1978, provided, however, that if prior to September 4, 1978
the said Note is negotiated and sold to Lutheran Mutual Life
Insurance Company, then the principal owing thereunder shall
be repaid as provided in Paragraph(c}of said Note.
2. In consideration of the Mortgagee's agreement to extend
the maturity date of said Note to September 4, 1978, Mortgagor
agrees to continue monthly payments of interest on the lst day
of each month hereafter up to and including the lst day of
September, 19~8 or until the said Note is assigned to Lutheran
Mutual Life Insurance Company at the rate specified in Paragraph
(a) of said Note.
3. Except as expressly modified herein, each and every
of the covenants, terms and conditions of the above described
Mortgage and Note secured thereby shall remain in full force
and.effect and Lowell & Associates, Ltd., as Mortgagor, by the
~ execution hereof, certifies to Miami National Bank that Mortgagor ~
~ has no offsets or defefises against the payment of the total

indebtedness secured by the above described Mortgage, to-wit:
R Five Hundred Fifty Thousand ($550,000.00) and No/100 Dollars

and Richard K. Welshans, James C. Love and Annelore R. Love,
his wife, by the execution hereof, certify to Miami National
Bank that they or any of them, jointly and severally, shall
continue to guaranty the payment to Miami National Bank,
its successors or assigns, of any and all indebtedness due in
~connection with the above described Mortgage and Note executed -
~ by Mortgagor and that Guarantors have no offsets or defenses

~ against the full and complete performance of the terms and

~ conditions of said Guaranty. ~
