WILSON, M.D., departed from the standard of reasonable medical c.are in the manner in which he treated the decedent, HETTY JEAN PRIDE, while he was an emergency } room physician at the Defendant Hospital, between the dates of ~ ~ June 25, 1976 and July 14, 1976. It is believed that JOHN J. WILSON, ~ M.D., departed from the standard of reasonable medical care in the followinq aspects: ~ - ; (a) Said Defendant failed to take an adequate medical i ~ i history of the decedent; . ~ ~ (b) Said Defendant failed to obtain adequate labora- tory or other diagnostic studies on the decedent or negligently inter- ~ preted the same; . ~ ; (c) Defendant physician failed to obtain needed medical ' ~ consultation for the:decedent; ~ (d) The Defendant physician failed to consult prior . ~ emerqency room and hospital recoras of the decedent before treating _ ~ or administering to the Care of the decedent; - . ~ (e) Defendant physician failed to properly diagnose i and properly treat the decedent; i (f) The Defendant physician failed to recommend to ! ~ decedent's family physician and/or staff physician that the decedent be admitted as a patient in the hospital, despite numerous visits to ~ the Defendant hospital by the decedent~on June 25, July 4, July 6, July 7 and July 8, 1976, where she display~d symptoms of encephalopathy or other serious illness, and where, on July 8, 1976, a~ter being sent to the Indian River Hental Health Center, she was diagnosed there by : ~ the staff psychiatrist, Dr. Emanual ~Jinocur,.as having acute metabolic ~ encephalopathy, requiring immediate hospitalization, and where, despite the existence of such symptoms and the above-mentioned diagnosis, which was known to Defendant physician the De~endant, JOHP1 J.
