LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
of
EDITH J. SMITH
I, EDITH J. SMITH, of Fort Pierce, St. Lucie County, Florida,
being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make, publish and de-
clare this to be my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former
Wills by me at any time made, and intending hereby to devise and be-
queath all of the property, both real and personal, of which I may die
seized and possessed, or to which I may be entitled at the time of my
death, wherever the same may be situated, as follows, to-wit: ~
FIRST: I direct my Personal Representative, hereinafter
named, to pay all of my just debts and funeral expenses as soon after
my decease as is practicable.
~ SECOND: I give and devise such of my tangible personaZ pro-
perty to thos~e persons designated in a separate writing in existence
at the time of my death, which list is signed by me and which describes
the items and the devisees with reasonable certainty.
THIRD: I hereby give, devise and bequeath the remainder of
my estate, whether real, personal or mixed, as follows:
A. Ten (10$) per cent to HARRIET HALE PILLINGER, Glen
Ellyn, Illinois. In the event she fails to survive me, then I give,
devise and bequeath her share to those of her children who survive me,
in equal shares, share and share alike.
_ B. Ten (10$) per cent to CHARLES E. HALE, Charlotte,
North Carolina. In the event he fails to survive me, then I give, de-
vise and bequeath his share to those of his children who survive me,
in equal shares, share and share alike.
C. Forty-five (45$) per cent to MRS. CHARLES O. NEFF,
605 South 15th Street, Fort Pierce, Florida. In the event she fails
to survive me, I give, devise and bequeath her share to her son,
THOI?IAS NEFF, if he survives me, and if not, to those of his children
who survive me, in equal shares, share and share alike.
D. Five (5$) per cent to MR. AND MRS. J. C. GIBSON,
or the survivor thereof, 520 North 12th Street, Fort Pierce, Florida.
