DEATH BENEFITS ~
X:1 As of the Effective Date or as of any subsequent
Anniversary Date, provided such Participant has
not attained~age 6S nearest birthday, there may be .
purchased from the Insurer, upon the application
by the Trustee, a permanent life insurance contract
for any Participant who has atta_ined the eligibility
requirements for such.incidental benefit specified

be required by the insurance company and is insurable
as herein ~efined. The type and amount of life
insurance shall be as specified in Item 12 of the
Adoption Agreement..
On each succeeding anniversary date when the monthly
compensation of a Participant as of the Eirst of
the calendar month next preceding such anniversary
date shall entitle him, in accordance with the
preceding par~graph, to an additional amount of
insurance of at least $2,000, there may be ~urchased
l from the Insurer an additional life insurance ~
contract or cover~age providing the additional
death benefit to which he is entitled, provided he
has not attained age sixty neares~ birthday and
submits to such physical examination as required
by the insurance company and is insurable as here-
in defined, such ins~rance may be purchased if he
agrees to pay the entire amount of such substandard .

does not agree to pay such extra preniums, the -
Pension Committee +nay direct the Trustee to apply
for and secure an insurance contract at a substan-
dard rate in suck~~a~ount as is purchasable by the
total ~remium which would be payable for him if he.
were insurat~le at standacd mortality.
If for any reason the Trustee does not accept any
life insurance offered at a substandard rating, or
if the Participant, when fir.st eligible for insur-
ance or later, is found to be uninsurable, or if
the Participant had attained age b5 when he entered
the Plan, the death benefit for him shall be equal
to the sum of (a) and (b) :
