remainder of my e8tate..in equal shares, to my two sons, GERALD A.
BARNES and JAMES N, BARNES, per stirpes, hereby pointing out that
it is my intent that both of my sons shall share equally in,my
estate, my son GERALD A, BARNES, having indicated a desire to hav
my home_place, is hereby given said home place in accordance with
Fourth Paragraph above, with the.understanding and direction that ;
he shall compensate my son JAMES N. BARNES, for one-half of
~the value that I have placed upon the property. i

I do hereby nominate and appoint my husband~, JAMES J. BARNES, ~
to act as Executor.of this, my Last Will and Testament, to serve
without bond, giving and granting unto him the right to sell_at
public or private sale, without the order.of any Court, and in the
event my husband shall predecease me, or he is unable or unwillin
to act, or our deaths should occur simultaneously or approximatel :
