FINAL ORDER ON PLAINTIFFS' PETITION FOR
ORDER APPROVING SETTLEMENT AND
DISMISSING CAUSE WITH PREJUDICE
THIS CAUSE coming on for hearing by the consent of the
. attorneys for the various parties this date upon the Stipulation
of the parties and the Plaintiffs' Petition for Order approving
Settlement. By Stipulation, the parties seek to.have this case
dismissed with prejudice as to all Defendants. As to consideration
of the Stipulation and the Petition for approval of the settlement,
it is .the opinion of the Court that this Order should be entered in
accordance with the terms and conditions of the Stipulation and the
allegations contained in the Petition for Order approving settlement,
and the Court specifically finds that this settlement is fair and
is in the best interest of the minor. It is thereupon
ORDERED AND ADJUDGED as follows:
1. The Plaintiffs' Complaint and the cause of action against
the Defendants is, dismissed with prejudice, the parties to bear their
own costs.
2. In view of the questionable liability and the amount of i
the settlement, the sum of $4,843.00 is a fair portion of the settle-
ment for settlement of the Plaintiff' claim, and the sum of $1,000.00
is a fair portion of the settlement for the father's claim, that of
JIM DEAN and for the mother's claim, that of EDITH DEAN, and the sum
of $3,843.00 is a fair portion of the settlement for the claim of
the minor, ANDREW ARLINGTON DEAN.
