This cause was heard upai the verified Petition for Acioptian
filed in this cause and the minor's natural father, Albert S. Smith, having
given written ooRSent to the adoption of his son, THONF~.S ~S SMI'i4i, by
- the Petitioner herein, and the written oor~sent of the mi.rrar properly filed
herein, and it appearityg to the Overt that the Petitioner is a fit and
per person to adapt the minor child sought to be adapted and that the
best interests of the dzild will be praroted by the adoption and that the
child is suitable for adap~tiaz by Petitioner, H~iROSD C. N~tIS, and being
fi,11y advised in the praxises, it is
ADJLDG'd~ that the minor gild lQ~ as TIiQ~S ~ JANII~S SMITH is -
declared to be the legal child of the Petitioner, I~ C. rDREtIS, and is
given the name of TiiDHIAS ~1MES MO1~tIS, by which name he shall hereafter be

ADOL~GED that this child shall be the child and legal heir of the
P~etitianer, HADaID C. MORRIS, entitled to all rights and privileges, and subject
to all obligations of a child born to Petitioner, F~IiiSD C. MO~2RIS, in lawful
wedlock.
