Petitioner, ROSETTA MILLER, to the best of her information and byelief, ;
says : .
1. Petitioner resides at 1108 Avenue G, Fort Pierce, Florida and her
post office address is 1108 Avenue G, Fort Pierce, Florida, 33450.
2. ALBERTA ALEXAAIDER died at Fort Pierce, Florida, on December 2, 1978,
intestate, and at the time of her death was domiciled at 1009 Avenue G, Fort
Pierce, Florida,~and was a resident of St. Lucie Co~mty, Florida.
3. At the t3me of death, decedent was 75 years of age and owned an
estate consisting of (real and personal property val.ued in excess of $10,000.00);
the real property is rental prnperty and therefore produces income to decedent's
estate. - ~
- 4. So~far as is lmown to the Petitioner, the surviving heirs at law
of the decedent consist of several cousins of which the Petitioner is one -
of them.
i: 5.- The heirs at law will have to be determined by the Co~st at a
~
future date.
6. The issuance of Letters Testamentary will be delayed for an
uncertain length of time because the Court has to determine the heirs at law
of the d~ecedent .
7. Unless a Curator is appointed to take charge of the Estate and
# preserve it for the benefit of those interested in it until Letters are granted,
= the Estate will suffer considerable loss and damage for the following reasons:
(1) Rents must be collected. -
(2) It is necessary to determine the total assets of d~cedent's
estate and debts which must be paid from estate funds. ~
8. Notice should not be required to be given the ~erson entitled to _
Letters Testamentary since there is great danger that the decedent's property
or a part of it wi11 be wasted, destroyed or removed beyond the j urisdiction of
this eourt if the appointment of a Curator is delayed by giving notice otherwise
required.
