ADJUDICATION• OF CONTEMPT
IT appearing from the evidence before the Court that GEORGE RUFUS GRIFFIN hav-
ing been continuously employed by the same company for over 10 years has willfully failed
and refused to pay the child support as required by the Final Judgment of this Court
entered on the 1st day of May, 1975, and is, as of this date January 5, 1979, in arrears
$5,214, including Court costs. Arrearage is hereby reduced to $4134.00 allowing for
time Respondent has had children for past three years summer vacation (36 weeks @ $30.00
per. week - $1,080.00), it is
ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that for such failure he stands in contempt of this Court
but may purge himself of this contempt by hereafter paying the $4,134.00 arrearage at the
rate of $10.00 per week. These payments to be in addition to the regular $30.00 per week
child support payments, making a total payment of $40.00 each and every week until the
arrearage is paid in full. Payments to be made in cash, cashier's check-or money order
and are to include an additional $2.00 statutory Clerk's fee. If Respondent GEORGE
RUFUS GRIFFIN does not purge himself of his contempt as provided above, he shall be re-
quired upon written affidavit of the Petitioner IRENE GRIFFIN to serve 120 days in the
St. Lucie County Jail, without further notice from this Court.
JURISDICTION of this cause, and the parties hereto is retained for the entry of
each further orders as may be proper. ~
DONE AND ORDERED at Fort Pierce, St. Lucie County, Florida this day
of January, A. D., 1979.
