the name, place and stead of such grandchild. I hereby expressly
authorize and empower my executrix or alternate executor, as the
case may be, to sell, lease or mortgage the whole or any portion
of my estate, except as herein otherwise specifically devised, at
either public oX private sale, with or without notice, without se-
curing any previous o rcier of court therefor, and upon such terms .
and conditions as to my executrix or alternate executor, as the
case may be, may seem best, subject, however, to confirmation of
court as provided by law.
_ FIFTH: I have purposely made no provision herein for any
other person, whether claiming to be an heir of .mine or not, and
if any person, whether~a beneficiary under this will or no.t men-
tioned herein, shall contest this will or object to any of the
provisions hereof, or attempt to secure any distribution of my
estate in a manner other than in accordance with the express pro-
. visions of this will, I give to such person so contesting, object-
ing or claiming distribution the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) but no
more, in lieu of the provision I have made or which I might have
made herein for such person so contesting, objecting or~claiming
distribution.
