do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my Last Will }
and Testament, and hereby revoke any and all~other Wills ~
and Codicils heretofore made by me. ~
CLAUSE I: I direct my~Executor to pay out of my ,

residuary estate all of my just debts including the ex-

penses of my iast illness and funeral expenses. #

CLAUSE II: I give, devise and bequeath all of
the rest, residue and remainder of my property, real and
personal, wherever situate and whether acquired before or
after the execution of this Will, to my wife, LOUISE H.
GAINES, as her own absolutely, provided she sureives me,
and if my said wife does not survive me, then all of said f

property shall go instead to my son, JAMES VIRGIL GAINES, JR., ;

! does not survive me, then all of said property shall be divided

in the event she shall die, resign, or be unable for any reason
to act as such, then I name and appoint my son, JAMES VIRGIL
