Petition for enforcement of visitation having been
filed by the father and a Motion for contempt of Court havir.g
~een filed b~~ the mother regarding violatior, of the restraining
order, this Judge proceeded to take testimor.y and hear arguments
; of counsel. From the evidence, the Court finds a disregard by
f the mother to the father of his rights of visitation. He h~s

; been made by the motlier to speak to the steo-father concerning

~ his visitation rights. Defenae counsel even ask the steo-

~ £ather a e~uestion concerning these discussions and he replied

~ that he r.ad never denied visitation rights to the father when,

~ in fact, he has no say-so. On the night of the day the petition
~
° for enforcement was filed, the father's car had been riooed by

~ shotgun blast. While emations may run high, the natural father

- should not be subjected to such abuse. There is no rec~uirement
~ that the natural father ask permission of the new husband for
~ I
~
~ visitation privileges. Communications between the mother and
~
~ father concerning the welfare and visitation of the child
~

~ should flow freely.
