respect thereto shall survive to any subsequent calendar

(C) My Trustees shall, in addition to the I

determine to be required to provide to my said wife funds
to meet any emergency, calamity, or hardship. In exer-

shall properly take account of the funds elsewhere and
otherwise available to my wife, both as respects income
and capital. However, it is my intention that any doubt
as Co .the necessity of a given invasion hereunder be re-
solved in favor of making the invasion, notwithstanding
and without regard to the degree to which the corpus of
the trust is thereby depleted;
~ - (D) My beloved wife, JEANETTE KANTOR,
shall have and I do hereby give her the absolute general
~ power, exercisable alone and in all events, to appoint, by

spec ific reference to this power in her valid Last Will,
~ all or any part of the corpus and undistributed income of
this Marital Trust remaining at the time of her death, free
from this trust, as a part of her estate, or to her estate,
or to whomsoever she pleases,~in such proportions and sub-
N j ec t to such terms, trusts, and conditions as she may di-
_ rec C by her valid Last Will. Such power may be exercised
