this Will in whole or in part, and from time to time, which
powers as set forth and delineated shall be deemed to be
supplementary to and not exclusive of the. general powers
of executors and trustees pursuant to lac.•, and such powers

limit or affect the general powers herein granted.
EIGHTEENTH: My Executors and Trustees are authori~pd
to execute and deliver any written instruments which they may
deem advisable to carry out any power, duty, or discretion
granted-to them, and all persons shall be fully protected in
relying upon their power to execute every such instrumenC, and
no one shall be obligated to see to the application by them of
any money or property received by them pursuant to the execution
and delivery of any such instrument.

NINETEENTH: My Executors are empowered to join with
~ my wife in filing any income tax return for any year in which
such joinder is permitted by law to and pay all or such ratable
g share of anq taxes thereon as they shall deem proper, end to
consent to any gifts made by my wife during my lifetime as hav-
ing been made one-half by me for the purpose of any gift tax ~
-law, and the exercise of such authority shall be final and con-
