SHORT FORM OF MORTGAGE
This Molrt~sge, dated the 23rd day of March A. D. 19 79 . by and between
RICHARD BASS, JR. toad DONNA BASS, his wife
hereinafter called the Mort~or, and
ADMINISTRATOR OF VETERANS AFFAIRS, an officer of the United
States of America, his successors and assigns
hereinafter called the Mortgagee,
WITNESSETH, that for vahubte consideratiot>s, the said Mortgagor does hereby giant, bargain, sell
and convey unto the said Mortgagee and his aesi~?:, all that certain parcel of land of which the aid
Mortpgor is now seized and possessed and in actual possession, dtuated in the County of St .Lucie
and State of Florida, described a: follows:
Lot 8, Block 10, LAKEWOOD PARK, UtJIT NO. 2, according
to the Plat recorded thereof in Plat Book 10, Pages
56 and 56A, of the Public Records of St.Lucie County,
Florida.

Together with all structures and- improvements now and hereafter on said land and the rents, issues
and profits of the above described property (provided, however, that the Mortgagor shall be entitled to
collect aad retain the said rents, issues and profits until default hereunder); and all fixtures now or here-
' after attached to or used in connection with the premises herein described and in addition thereto the fol-
lowing descxibed household appliances, which are and shall be deemed to be, fixtures and a part of the
realty, and are a portion of the security for the indebtedness herein mentioned.

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same, and every part thereof, with the appurtenances of the said
Mortgagor in and to the same, and every part and parcel thereof, unto the said Mortgagee in fee simple.
The Mortgagor hereby covenants with the Mortgagee, that he is seized of said land in fee simple or
such other estate, if any, ss is stated herein; and that said Mortgagor does hereby fully warrant the title to
said land, and every part thereof, and will defend the same against the lawful claims of all persons
whomsoever.
PROVIDED ALWAYS, that if the Mortgagor should pay to the Mortgagee that certain promissory
note of even date herewith, made by the Mortgagor and payable to the order of the Mortgagee in the
~ principal sum of THIRTY THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED - - -Dollars, payable in monthly install-

and perform each and every other covenant and provision herein on the part of the Mortgagor to be

form of mortgage, which is incorporated herein by reference as if set out herein in full, then these presents
shall be void and released at the expense of the Mortgagor, otherwise to remain in full force and effect. The
s` said blank or master form of mortgage was recorded on February 13, 1970, in the Ofbcial Records of the
Clerk of the Circuit Court of the following counties in Florida in the Official Records Volume and at the
page designated after the name of each county, to-wit: (except tt>,at it was recorded in Bradford, Brevard,
Duval and Suwannee Counties on Felxuary 9,1970, and in Dade County on February 10,1970)
