Trustee ahall have the following powers: To hold the•property which may come into its hands and all proceeds thereof for the uses and purposes herein stated; to demand, receive, compromise or adjust any sum which may become due, any right of action, and any right of ~ title hereby conveyed or hereafter acquired by.my said Truseee; to institute, prosecute or dismiss any action, suit or proceeding, when necessary in its judgment in the execution of this trust, and in its discretion to employ counsel; to convert and reconvert, invest and re- invest, sell, exchange, lease, pledge .or mortgage the whole or any por- tion of the funds or property held in trust; to retain as an investment any and all property in my estate even though it may not be eligihle under the laws as an investinent for Trust Funds, or its continued re- tention might result in inadequate diversification; to deposit stock and other securities under reorganization, consolidation or merger plans, and to participate_in cooperative action through creditors', bondholders'.or stockholders' committees; to build, alter, repair, rebuild or improve buildings on land now owned by me~or hereaf_ter acquired.by my Trustee; to manage and operate any business in which I I ~ may be engaged at the time of my demise; to pay taxes, tax assessments, ~ ~ ~ interest, insurance premiums, and other expenses incident to the exe- I ~ cution of this Trust, including the compensation of the-Trustee; to ! ~ ~ ~ evaluate and divide trust funds when the division thereof is by this ~ . ~ instrument directed, and to determine how all receipts and disburse- ments shall be credited, charged or apportioned as between income and ~ principal, and its decision shall be final and not subject to question ~ by any beneficiar_y ,as to any matter or- thing necessary to tre exercise s ~ of this power; to make, execute, sign, seal and deliver such instruments, ~ . ~ and to do and perform such other acts, matters and things as in the ~ judgment of said Trustee may be necessary or proper to carry out the ¢ Y ~ terms and purposes of this trust, and to exercise any further or other ~ . ~ ~ ~ - - ~~R ~a~z 1~ ~ Ir~r ~ g~,K~os ~ r € ~ ; _ . . = ~ f ; . ~ ` ~''y ~ ~ °
