FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE tR;[tBOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CI1Y aQM+RSSION OF THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA:
SECTION I. The Territorial Limits of the City of Fort Pierce, Florida,
be and they are hereby extended to atmex to the said City the following
described lands, to-wit:
The North 250' X 700' of the 851 front feet on South U.S. 1 approximate
acres in Section 27, Township 35 South, Range 40 East in the NWT of the
SEA, St. Lucie County, Florida.
SECTION II. That the Tax Appraiser of St. Lucie County and the Tax
Collector of St. Lucie County are directed to place upon and add to the
assessment roll and to collect the taxes on the lands described in Section I
hereof for the year 1978 and subsequent years, and to enter the same at such
valuation that it will bear an equal and just proportion of taxes for the
year 1978~and subsequent years thereto. _
SECTION III..-That the City Clerk shall cause this Ordinance to be published
once a week for four consecutive weeks in The News Tribune in Fort Pierce,
Florida, and to post three copies of this Ordinance in a conspicuous place in
the City Hall in the City of Fort Pierce and three copies in a conspicuous
place on the tract of land hereinbefore described, said posting to be for four

consecutive weeks.

~ SECTION IV. That upon this Ordinance becoming effective the lands hereinabove
~ described and annexed to the territorial limits of the City of Fort Pierce shall
be and the same are hereby zoned for B-2 land uses in accordance with the zoning

ordinances of the City of Fort Pierce, Florida.

SECTION V. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are

hereby repealed.
SECTION VI. This Ordinance shall be and become effective at the expiration
of thirty days after final passage.
