ARTICLE VI
In addition to all common law and statutory
authority,- my personal representatives at any time serving
hereunder shall have power:
1. To borrow money and as security
therefor to mortgage or pledge property.
2. To lease, sell, mortgage, transfer

and convey in such manner and on such terms
as they may deem advisable any and all property, s
real or personal, belonging to my estate,
without the necessity of obtaining leave of
any court; and no purchaser shall be held
liable to see to the application of any pur- ~
chase money.
3. Without liability, to retain any ,
portion of my property in the same state of
investment in which it is taken over by the
personal representative, the period of said
retention to rest in their judgment.
4. To acquire by purchase or otherwise,
and retain for whatever period they shall think
proper, all kinds of real and personal prop-

erty whether productive or unproductive, and
every kind of investment, including legal and

y discretionary trust funds, at times and in a-

mounts determined by them, and to carry such
investments in bearer form or in the name of
_ a nominee.
{ 5. To allocate securities or other pro-
perty in lieu of cash in making distributions
~ hereunder, the decision made in good faith by
