6. To pay or receive payment, compromise
or otherwise, settle any claims, including
taxes, in favor of or against me or my estate.
7. To collect rents and other proceeds

from real estate, paying all carrying charges
thereon and making such repairs thereto as they t
may deem proper, all without the necessity of
obtaining-leave of any court.
8. To delegate discretionary powers to
agents, remunerate them and pay their expenses.
9. To carry on any business owned or

controlled by me at the time of my death for
whatever period of time they shall think proper,
with full powers in the premises, including -
the power to borrow and to pledge assets con-
tained in m estate as security for said bor-

rowings.
10. To make distribution of any minor's
property either directly to the minor or to
the guardian or any relative of the minor, and
the. receipt of such minor, guardian or relative t

j shall be of full protection and discharge to
my personal representatives.
11. To employ accountants, attorneys and

such agents as they may deem advisable and to
~ pay reasonable compensation for their services.
ARTICLE VII

- If any legatee or devisee under this Will shall
die within thirty (30) days after my death, any bequest,
devise, interest or estate given to or for the benefit of
