neither shall survive me, this bequeath ahall pass under my residue

~ VIII.
I hereby give and bequeath the sum of ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS
($1~000:00) to my dear friend, FRANK ALESSI, if he survives me.
IX.
I hereby give and bequeath the sum of 0~1E THOUSAND DOLLARS
($1,000.00) to my dear friend, RUBY MITCHELL, if she survives me.
X.
All the rest. remainder and residue of my estate, real,
personal and mixed~ of whatsoever nature it may consist and
wheresoever situated, I hereby give, devise and bequeath in equal
shares to my nieces, HELEN I. DANNATT, CYNTHIA ICKES and JANE BUTZ,
and to my nephews, JOHN M. ICKES, HENRY ICKES and WILLIAM ICKES,
if they survive me. _
. XI.
I hereby nominate and appoint my attorney, J. MICHAEL BRENNAN,
as my personal representative of this my Last Will and Testament. I
direct that no bond be required of my personal representative to do
' any and all things in regard to the administration of my estate that

~ I might do myself in regard to the distribution of my property,

; including the power to sell without Court order.
