sons, WILLIAM L. GOULD, presently residing at 20 West Street,
Albany, New York and ROBERT L. GOULD, presently residing at
San Jose, California, equally, share and share alike.
In the event I am predeceased by one or both of my said '
sons, but am survived by the issue of such predeceasing son or
sons, that share which said son or sons would have received shall {
pass instead to his issue, per stirpes and not per capita; other-
wise such share shall pass to that son or the issue of said son

ARTICLE V
I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my son,
WILLIAM L. GOULD, as_Executor of this, my Last Will and Testament.
If said son should predecease me~or for any reason is unable or
unwilling to act as such Executor, then and in that event, I
nominate, constitute and appoint my son, ROBERT L. GOULD,
Executor of this, my Last Will and Testament. I direct that no
bond or undertaking shall be required of either of them in any
courtt place or jurisdiction for the faithful performance of their
duties as such Executor.

€ I hereby expressly confer upon my Executor of this, my Last- '

Will and Testament, the power to sell and dispose of any part of
~ my estate, either real or personal property, without any order of
any court, and at either public or private sale, and to execute
such instruments and conveyances-thereof as may be necessary. My _
said Executor in making distribution of my estate, is authorized _
to do so in such a manner as shall appear advisable to him or in
his absolute discretion, and in so doing may make distribution in
kind or may reduce the assets of my estate to cash and make dis-
tribution thereof, or may adopt both suggested procedures in making
