ij The Lienors request of the Honorable Court herein

in accordance with Florida Statute 592.031, known as the '
:i Uniform Judicial Notice of Foreign Laws Act, that it take !
judicial notice of California law as follows: j

5. Under California law an employer may enter a
claim of lien in the action of an injured employee against
i
the tort-feasor as described with greater particularity in !
California Statute 53852, a true copy of which is attached

hereto and expressly incorporated by reference herein as ~
i
Lienors' Exhibit "B"•
6. The Lienors are entitled to distribution from
any judgment recovered herein from the third party tort-feasor
by the plaintiff as described with greater particularity in

California Statute 53856, a true copy of which is attached i
hereto and incorporated by reference herein as Lienors'
Exhibit "C";
7. In the event that the Plaintiff and the

Defendants herein enter into a compromise and•settlement

of the above-styled matter, the Lienors are entitled to
distribution from the proceeds of such settlement as described
with greater particularity in California Statute 538.60, a
true copy of which i s attached hereto. and expressly incorporated

by reference herein as Lienors' Exhibit "D".
